This is the story of a pampered house-dog named Lady Pelosi and a tough-and-tumble stray named Trump. Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands. I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away.  Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life.  Whatever that means, that is what I want. But I admit that it's hard, Lord. Sometimes I feel like I can't go on.  The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don't have the strength on my own to get through this. I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer.  I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone. Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today.  I don't have to worry about tomorrow. If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need. Dear Pro Life Friends, Tomorrow, Sunday is the March 4 Life event, Amistad Pregnancy Care Center (APCC) will be participating by handing out pro Life posters at Thomson Tire Shop from 2pm to 4pm. Due to COVID-19 regulations we cannot walk together as a group, instead people will need to pick up a poster at Thomson Tire Shop or at Skillets parking lot and each family or person will go look for a place to stand with their sign along veterans and HWY 90. We ask people picking up signs to please bring them back. For those that cannot participate in person, please keep us in your prayers. This event is organized by Del Río 4 Life. Due to COVID-19 and the spike experienced in Val Verde County recently, the March for Life was postponed.  We will be doing a March, but it will look differently to ensure we observe and participate safe social distancing.   For this year’s March we are asking families or households or individuals who want to participate to sign up for a pre-designated location throughout the city of Del Rio.  We will provide signs with Pro-Life messages that can be held and displayed to traffic passing.  We ask that you stay on public property, which will primarily be the sidewalk in most locations.  Please send an e-mail to the address below to register, receive more instructions and your assignment.
