  The effects of living in a spiritual wasteland are listlessness, low spirited, and a lack of joy. A great sadness has descended upon the spiritual wasteland. We are more concerned with our social status than with the spiritual status of our soul.

  Insulated and isolated individuals living in a world of virtual unreality. In a time when all talk of diversity, never has there been less diversity when all conform to a collective consciousness; not from The Divine Decree, but from the demagogue diktat. Modern media puts psychological pressure to leave the real world to escape and seek happiness in the virtual world. The almost religious promised land where people possess excellent health, exquisite beauty, and eternal youth. Instead of denouncing the demonic; the digital world deifies it, disguises it, dismisses it, or denies it. Our never-ending entertainments start out as exhilarating and end up being exhausting. We live in a world of superficial indulgence and spiritual impoverishment. Society has become superficial and shallow without the supernatural and sublime. Our Divine Deliverer deliver us from danger, from the demonic, and from the depths of despair.    

  In a world of selfies, the person taking the picture puts themselves front and center, in the forefront, the main attraction, and the center of attention. They set the tone, set the stage, shoot the shot, and call the shots. Individualism is a deeply detrimental deformation of individuality. Individualism is the ideology that identifies an individual intensely with self-preservation and self-interest to the exclusion of his or her social character and role in the community. Solely seeking self and selfishness is self-deceiving, self-deluding, self-demeaning and self-destructive.

  The modernism and marxism mentality of priests as  administrators has caused them to be functionaries. The modernism and marxism mentality of churches  as organizations has caused them to be community centers. The modernism and marxism mentality of parishioners  as secularists has caused them to gather for fellowship. Let us make a commitment to do everything we can to halt the encroachment of modernism and marxism polluting the hallowed halls of Holy Mother Church.

 

 

 

 

  Personal reflection:     Cute and funny or cursed and fatal? Why use a dish soap with that name? Why invoke the name of a witch and a witch’s brew, a cursed concoction? Meant to conjure up evil spirits, to put spells and hexes on people. A demonic dish soap, not to make clean but to make dirty. Get your hands dirty with this demonic-satanic disguised and dispensed as a dish soap. Why bring a witch’s brew into your home, into your kitchen? It doesn’t remove stains, it leaves the stain of sin. I remember sometime back HEB would not sell alcoholic beverages, now it’s been infiltrated by witches and warlocks. How far down it has fallen from the original owner’s morals and values. Another corrupt corporation that has fallen from grace and now extols evil and distributes the demonic, and sells the satanic.   Don’t fall into the treacherous trap of status seeking; whether it be cars, clothing, or colleges because they are marketed and perceived as the finest and most fashionable in their field.   Cars were meant to transport us from point A to point B, clothing was meant to cover our bodies, and hopefully a person obtaining a college degree would get a job.   We are brainwashed into falsely believing we can buy an imagined status way of life and a state of blissful happiness.   Commercialization and consumerism leads to covetousness and cupidity, which rhymes with stupidity.   Don’t be stupid, be smart, save souls especially your own.  

 

  In our topsy-turvy world, Christian virtues have been turned into vices, and cultural vices have been turned into virtues.   What was once a morally, culturally, ordered society; has been turned into an immoral, uncultured, disordered society.   Once upon a time when people were prideful, greedy, jealous, angry, impure, voracious, and lazy; they were considered bad, now they are considered good.   Once upon a time when people were modest, generous, grateful, compassionate, pure, temperate, and diligent; they were considered good, now they are considered bad.
