  It’s been 25 years since the first iteration of the COVID virus in the year 2019 spread throughout the world, and now that COVID-44 has emerged in the year 2044, an entire generation has never known anything else except life in lockdown. The reason everyone is still in lockdown is because no successful vaccine has been produced to counter the deadly viruses. Well, actually it’s not so much that the viruses are any more deadly than any other diseases; it’s just that people are more deathly afraid of being infected with this particular type of illness. A young child about six years old who came into the hospital needed a heart surgery or else he could die if he didn’t have surgery. The doctor told the parents that their son was very sick and that he needed surgery right away or that he would not last very long.
