A LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of Pro-Life Americans standing for one hour and praying for our nation and for an end to abortion.  It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the church supports the sanctity of each and every human life from the moment of conception. #ProLife   #ProFamily   #LifeChain Public witness in Del Rio TX involves standing a few feet apart as we join the 32nd NATIONAL LIFE CHAIN!  We want the public to respond to our presence and our message and desire to respect and protect all human life. Participants are asked to be courteous and act with charity and kindness to all so that we might effectively share the joy and peace of Christ.  Stand with thousands of pro-lifers throughout the USA!  You'll be a light in a darkened world as you help put an end to abortion through prayer! Plan to join us in the area in front of the Del Rio Civic Center to stand for life!  Bring your wh

Sign of the Cross

Years ago,  before the East Germans began  rebuilding their churches,  they erected a secular structure:  the television tower at Alexander Platz.  Virtually ever since,  the authorities have been working  to correct what they view  as the tower’s one major flaw:  treating the glass sphere at the top  with paints and chemicals of every kind.  Yet even today  when the sun strikes that sphere,  that sphere that towers over all Berlin,  the light makes the Sign of the Cross.  There in Berlin,  like the city itself,  symbols of love,  symbols of worship,  cannot be suppressed.

It’s Pure Hatred Against Future Greatness by Gene Chapman

The greatest nation in world history, founded upon Christian values is, struggling to survive, pitted against desperate unprincipled, godless, secularism in slavery of socialism that can only lead to pure Communism. America, with full comforts in the freedom of limitless opportunities, based upon individual dreams of chance taking entrepreneurs for deserved wealth, raced to world dominance. It was a new kind of government, a Constitutional Republic with checks and balances, never a democracy. Human proclivities, in democracies, always eventually vote for a living, dying on the vine of starvation. Once America had blindfolded Lady Liberty in the New York harbor welcoming the world to a new world of justice; it was not for sell, a law and order dispensed by the book with the same yardstick for rich and poor in sameness, making all mankind equal. The world’s strongest humanity rushed to America to follow their dreams, and our modern world of today began, going to the moon on the way t

Alternative Math - Short Film by Ideaman

Personal reflection: Since 2+2=22 20+20=2,020 200+200=200,200 Then $2,000+$2,000= $20,002,000  that’s TWENTY MILLION TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS The principal wants to pay the teacher $4,000,  the teacher wants to be paid $22,000,  and the student according to his Math. would have paid her $20,002,000. It’s the mad, mad, mad world of Math. Alternative Math is Math in an alternate universe. It’s the answer I want to give and you have to be tolerant and accept whatever I say is correct. Fires will be kindled to to testify that two and two make four.  Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in summer. G. K. Chesterton.

God is good, gracious, and generous with His glorious graces.   While recently reflecting and pondering on priorities and the temptations beset upon us by putting things off and procrastinating, the realization came, that when putting God first then He marvelously reveals a proper perspective to be seen with the eyes of faith, to be heard with the ears of hope, to be spoken with the lips of love, and to be written with the hands of joy.   God puts things in their proper place and puts people in our path to do His Will and bring about the Kingdom of God in our midst.   People sometimes laughingly refer to Brackettville as the holy city, but there is much truth in that description. During the Jubilee Year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis in 2016, the Archdiocese of San Antonio designated fifteen (15) churches, one in each of the deaneries to lovingly receive the honor of being a pilgrimage site, and from the Uvalde Deanery Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Brackett
