In a world of selfies, the person taking the picture puts themselves front and center, in the forefront, the main attraction, and the center of attention.

They set the tone, set the stage, shoot the shot, and call the shots.

Individualism is a deeply detrimental deformation of individuality.

Individualism is the ideology that identifies an individual intensely with self-preservation and self-interest to the exclusion of his or her social character and role in the community.

Solely seeking self and selfishness is self-deceiving, self-deluding, self-demeaning and self-destructive.
