The President and The Pope both speak of “backwardness”

Image
Joe Biden: "MAGA (Make America Great Again) forces are determined to take this country BACKWARDS. BACKWARDS to an America where there is - "no right to choose"  (Abortion) - "no right to privacy" (Pornography) - "no right to contraception" (Sexual Freedom) - "no right to love who you love" (Sodomy)   Pope Francis: “The temptation of nostalgia makes us look at other times as better. Please, do not fall into  ‘BACKWARDNESS,’ this BACKWARDNESS of the Church that today is in style.”   “Let us be careful, this does not mean looking back with nostalgia, getting stuck on things of the past and becoming paralyzed by immobility, this is the temptation of BACKWARDNESS.” Personal reflection: BACKWARDNESS to both of them means TRADITONAL. The President wants a country without TRADITIONS: without the Founding Father’s teachings in the Constitution and the moral laws of Christianity. The Pope wants a Church without TRADI...

Listening to the baby's heart beat for the first time

The idea that six-week-old babies in the womb don’t have a detectable heartbeat.  That’s the latest excuse for abortion being spread by the media.  Liberal outlets such as NPR (National Public Radio)  and  The New York Times  are trying to combat fetal heartbeat abortion bans by claiming that at that stage, to quote  The Times , the fetus has “only a primitive tube of cardiac cells that emit electric pulses and pump blood,” and the sound heard on an ultrasound is “created by the machine itself, which translates the waves of electrical activity into something audible.” Planned Parenthood  stealth-edited its website to change from saying that the heartbeat  begins at 5-6  weeks to claiming that it’s just the beginning of heart development. Washington Post  “fact-checker” Glenn Kessler rushed to spin the same narrative , claiming that the ultrasound is just picking up “electrical activity generated by an embryo,” not a heartbeat.  That...

Men's_Global RosaryCrusade from Knights of the Precious Blood on Vimeo . Global Men's Rosary Crusade 2022 “The rosary is sort of a machine gun and atomic bomb, namely a weapon that is far superior to all the weapons of modern warfare in overcoming the enemy of God”. Servant of God, Father Joseph Ketenich On Saturday October 8th 2022 , one day after the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary ( October 7 ), all men of good will are called to take up their rosaries and to march under the banner of Our Lady of Victory to their local Cathedral or town square, and in unison with their brothers world-wide, pray the rosary to fulfill the requests of Our Lady at Fatima.  The call for the World-wide Rosary Crusade is to make reparation and atonement, and to pray for repentance and conversion of sinners; to pray for peace in the world and in families; to pray for the reign of the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart in the hearts of men, in families and in society.

It’s All Coming Back to me Today by Gene Chapman

I watched Queen Elizabeth’s funeral service this morning at Edinburgh, Scotland.   My double great Grandfather Alsobrooks came to America from the British Empire, likely in the early 1700's. My brother, Walter Stinson’s research discovered that he owned three sections of land, extending in every direction around our Beulah home. My very earliest memories of life were of our old Alsobrooks home with a Dog Trot dividing the living room, an expansive kitchen from several bedrooms, one of which was great Uncle John Alsobrooks, and fireplaces. I remember the old deserted Alsobrooks Road, which was once the center of life, no more than a stagecoach, wagon or horse ridden capable then and today, joining the Beulah Road at the Beulah Church. Our land included the Beulah public Cemetery, and the Church was north of the Beulah Road, but the Alsobrooks Cemetery was across the road on the south side, which Stinson and I found fascinating.   Our great Grandfather Alsobrooks and his ...
