Jesus Help Me! Prayer submitted by Irene Ortiz

Image
Jesus Help me. In every need let me come to you with a humble trust saying, Jesus help me. In all my doubts, perplexities and temptations, Jesus help me. In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials, Jesus help me. In failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments, troubles and sorrows, Jesus help me. When others fail me and your grace alone can assist me, Jesus help me. When I throw myself on your tender love, as my Lord and Savior, Jesus help me. When my heart is cast down by failure at seeing no good coming from my efforts, Jesus help me. When I am ill and my head and hands cannot work and I am lonely, Jesus help me. Always, always, in spite of weariness, falls and shortcomings of every kind, Jesus help me and never forsake me.

All peaceful protests matter by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

It is an American right to peacefully protest. All peaceful protests must be protected as a right of all American citizens. Black Lives Matter peaceful protests matter, but equally so do Pro-Life peaceful protests matter, Second Amendment Gun Rights peaceful protests matter, Election Integrity peaceful protests matter, and all peaceful protests matter. Even peaceful protests that we might disagree with, and maybe especially those we don’t agree with; they are all guaranteed the right to peacefully congregate and stand in solidarity for their cause and peacefully communicate their views to make their case for their particular cause. The law protects protests and those who are protesting, but the law does not protect those who break the law and turn to violence and vandalism, murder and mayhem. Those who hijack peaceful protests and turn them into acts of arson, looting, and rioting are not to be protected, and people must not be allowed to break the laws of the land. We will no long...

There is Much Hate, Misinformation, But so Little Love by Gene Chapman

Forever, the media justified ANTIFA/BLM rioting, looting, burning Court houses/Police Stations, businesses as peaceful protest, but a few hot headed, over wrought (stupid) Trump supporters storming the Capitol, mixed with professional agitators (ANTIFA/BLM) is the epitome of crime.   The Capitol Police, understanding that Trump’s massive rallies ended peacefully, were woefully unprepared.   They boarded up Washington before the election as a precaution, thinking Trump might win, knowing violence would explode.   I listened to Trump’s last words at the rally, “I know that you will soon be marching over to the Capitol to peacefully, patriotically have your voices heard.”    Those are not riotous words.   But the left is so desperate to destroy Trump, they interrupt peacefully to mean riot, and patriotism to mean permanently silencing all conservative Twitter, Facebook, all free speech, for total control as it actually happened.   Furthermore, the bre...

Little Red Riding Hoodie! by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Once there was a little girl who always wore her little red hoodie when she went out riding on her red bike, so everyone called her Little Red Riding Hoodie. One morning, Little Red Riding Hoodie asked her mother if she could go to visit her big brother who lived just down the street. "That's a wonderful idea," her mother replied.  So together they filled a backpack full of goodies so Little Red Riding Hoodie could take to her big brother. Remember her mother cautioned, “Wash your hands, wear your mask and watch out and stay six feet apart.” A few minutes later, Little Red Riding Hoodie knocked on her big brother’s door.  When Little Red Riding Hoodie saw her big brother, she could scarcely recognize him as he was wearing an N95 mask, a face shield and gloves. But that wasn’t what startled her. "But big brother, what big ears you have!" asserted Little Red Riding Hoodie. "The better to hear all the conversations you have and everything you...

Father Clay shared the lyrics and invited the congregation especially the Confirmation students attending Mass to view the video. Father Clay said he liked the song but he especially liked the video, and when we viewed the video we would know why he liked it so much. "Bonfire Heart" [Verse 1:] Your mouth is a revolver Firing bullets in the sky Your love is like a soldier, Loyal 'til you die And I’ve been looking at the stars For a long, long time I’ve been putting out fires All my life Everybody wants a flame, They don’t want to get burnt And today is our turn [Chorus:] Days like these lead to... Nights like this lead to Love like ours. Yo...

God blesses a faithful priest forever by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

It was a cause of much sadness and sorrow in the Catholic community, especially among those whose lives have been profoundly impacted and significantly changed for the better by Father Henry Clay Hunt, III to learn the news that his priestly faculties have been removed.  Father Clay who recently served in Del Rio and San Antonio, Texas is now only allowed to say his daily, private, personal Mass; he cannot continue to serve in public ministry as an ordained priest of God administering the Sacraments and actively working for the salvation of souls. You may ask what Father Clay did to have this strict punishment imposed on him by his superiors? The answer is that no reason has been given to the public by church authorities.   Church Militant has published the following articles: June 19, 2020: TX Priest Under Fire for Orthodoxy December 18, 2020: Beloved TX Priest Stripped of Faculties   San Antonio Family Association has published the following articles: Ju...

John Wayne is Dead? by Gene Chapman

What is truth anymore in America?  In the old Soviet Union the joke was, “There is no truth Pravda, and no news Izvestia.”  Pravda means “truth” and “Izvestia” means news.  Pravda was a propaganda factory, disguised as journalism to defend at any cost the corrupted dictatorship of Josef Stalin’s totalitarian rule, with unquestioned millions disappearing in the night.  There was only one side of the news, the ruling cabal’s side, controlling truth. January 6 th , near a hundred thousand Americans gathered in Washington to protest a most questionable election, after 385 lawsuits were filed by the Democrat partisans to weaken the safeguards of secure elections since Trump’s surprising win.    Near 50 percent of America admit they aren’t confident in the election, and Izvestia (news) is telling us it was the cleanest election in history with not a single Court under oath hearing of facts.  Trump spoke, and it was emotional for sure, but no...
