Pro-Life Testimony for Masses   I give thanks to God our Father, to Our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior, and to the Holy Spirit our Life, for the grace to be here with you today to share with you my experience with abortion and the understanding that the Lord has given me through my experience.  I also thank Fr. Clay for permitting me to talk with you today.  The Lord has put in my heart a very strong desire to share this testimony with you, for the sake of the unborn babies and their mothers and fathers, and for the glory of Our Merciful God.   First I want to say that the mainstream media give a very distorted picture of abortion.  Those who are pro-abortion give us the message that they are the ones who are  for women.  They give us the message that sometimes abortion is the best thing for a woman, and that they have the right to make a choice about what is best for them.   God created each of us with free will....

Obituary for Legion of Mary Auxiliary Member Hilaria V. Araujo Hilaria V. Araujo, age 84, entered into rest on Saturday, November 5, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on January 14, 1932.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery V. Del Rio Marian Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of Mercy On October 9, fifty-two pilgrims made the journey from Del Rio to Brackettville and then to San Antonio to visit four of the sixteen designated Holy Doors of Mercy in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The Legion of Mary of the Del Rio Catholic Faith Community and Spiritual Director Father Antonio O. Moreno, retired military chaplain assigned to assist at the three parishes in Del Rio, sponsored the Marian Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of Mercy. Before the start of the pilgrimage the pilgrims gathered inside St. Joseph Church in Del Rio to begin with prayer and a blessing from Father Moreno.
