Don't Feed The Beast

 

Personal reflection:

Don’t keep feeding the savage emotional beasts, they can never be satiated.

Don’t keep feeding the vicious vices, they can never be satisfied.

Vicious vices:

hatred, sloth, envy, discord, quarreling, objectifying others, lust, prudishness, heresy, doubt, disbelief, disloyalty, treachery, irreverence, fear, audacity, cowardice, stinginess, wastefulness, quarrelsomeness, selfishness, despair, presumption, pride, self-loathing, dishonesty, animosity, meanness, indifference, sloth, workaholism, disobedience, defiance, malevolence, meanness, mercilessness, anger, negligence, inconstancy, gluttony, greed, drunkenness, lust, acedia, apathy, complacency, lukewarmness, etc.

 

Bring emotions under Christ’s submission.

God’s Spirit and God’s Truth are more powerful than emotions and vices.
