Personal reflection:
The Catholic Church should be the most truthful and transparent, not secretive and silent.
The light of the Savior is revealing; while the darkness of satan is concealing.
Truth sets us free; while lies keep us in bondage.
Of course this does not include the sacred seal of the Sacrament of Confession, but everything else.
