What would Jesus do in a flood? What is the correct response?

Personal reflection:

Not anywhere is it written that Jesus gave money to a non-governmental organization (NGO) like Catholic Charities.

Catholic Charities falsely claims to be Catholic.

In order to receive government grants it must be a totally secular organization, no mention of faith or religion.

A truly Catholic organization would be Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

We are called primarily to prayer.

We are called to respond with personal love, personal generosity, and personal sacrifice; there is no such thing as organizational love, organizational generosity, or organizational sacrifice.

Only individual people can love other people, can be genuinely generous towards others, and can sacrifice themselves for others.

It is not true that hundreds of families are relying specifically on Catholic Charities.

Catholic Charities is only saying that so that you will give them money.

It is only true that everyone is relying on God, whether they realize it or not, for the freely God-given gifts of faith, hope, and love.

Don’t be bamboozled or brainwashed by slick marketing techniques meant to make you feel guilty if you don't make a donation supposedly because that's what they want you to believe that Jesus would do in a flood.
