A fact is a fact by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

No matter who says it, and there are many people who are now saying it.

No matter for how long they have said it or for how long they continue to say it.

They can scream it and shout it at the top of their lungs, until they’re baby blue colored or baby pink colored all over their face.

They can throw all the toddler-like temper tantrums, hold their breaths until they faint, because they are angry; so that we’ll give in to their bullying threats and say what they want us to say.

They can even give it their stamp of approval on all the decrees and declarations that they so desire throughout the world.

But the fact is and the fact will always be; a baby’s a baby already before he or she is even born and the whole human race is divided into only two sexes, each one distinctively different: male and female.

Both are totally and completely equal in dignity and respect but created distinct for the meaning and purpose of the unitive and procreative aspects of the marital bond.

No matter how much they say it isn’t so; how much they don’t want to believe it, it doesn’t make it so, because the fact is staring them right in their face.

We were all born in our mother’s womb and we were all forever formed to live our life as male or female.

There’s a baby in his or her mother’s womb and that baby is either a boy or a girl.

It’s as simple as that.

Everyone all over the world instinctually and intrinsically knows those are the facts of life, and even a toddler recognizes it to be a fact. When you ask a toddler, “What’s in mommy’s tummy?”

The reply will always be, “A baby!”

And when you ask a toddler, “What are you a boy or a girl?”

The toddler will look at you curiously and think you are crazy if you have to ask such a ridiculous question.

Of course, he knows he’s a boy and she knows she’s a girl.

There is no doubt in a toddler’s mind.

Out of the mouth of babes comes the innocent and honest answers.

To all the women who refute it, “That’s just the facts ma’am”, and to all the men who reject it, “That’s a fact Jack!”

Throughout the long course of human history it was so, it continues to be so, and it will forever be so.

A fact is not a falsehood, not a fabrication of the imagination or a fictitious invention.

Vive la vie! Vive la différence!
