The email received January 10, 2022 states:
“Due
to the current Covid-19 situation in Bexar County, and in consideration of our
Archdiocesan Community, we have made the decision to postpone the Khaki &
Plaid Gala to FRIDAY, MARCH 18,
2022 at 7PM.
This
decision was made after a lot of prayer, and discussions with our honorary and
executive chairs, leadership, and sponsors.
We
look forward to seeing you in a warmer month!

Stated
on the Archdiocese website:
“The
mission of Hope for the Future is to assist families in obtaining the academic
and spiritual benefits of a Catholic School education in the Archdiocese of San
Antonio through need-based tuition assistance. Hope for the Future also
supports the schools through grants for infrastructure, curriculum, and
technology improvements.”
Unfortunately, not only has The Gala fund-raiser for
the project of Hope for the Future been postponed, but, ironically, so has “HOPE
for the future” been severely diminished as demonstrated by the Head Shepherd
of the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
Another Scared Shepherd runs for the hills, afraid of
the Big Bad COVID Wolf that is scaring and scattering all the sheep to more
easily devour them.
The decision to postpone The Gala was publicized on
January 10 for an event that was scheduled to occur on February 6.
The Gala has been re-scheduled and will now be held on
March 18.
Who knows what will be happening on February 6 or March
18? The correct answer is: Only God knows.
Will the covid situation be any better or will it be
far worse? Again the correct answer is: Only God knows.
So why change the date of The Gala? To appease the
fears of those who lack faith in trusting in God.
Why is the Head Shepherd encouraging the FEAR FACTOR to
run rampant in our lives, when he should be exemplifying the FAITH FACTOR to
rescue us from submitting and succumbing to being frightened and fearful of all
the threatening and terrifying things that surround us?
Head Shepherd, help us to break free of the suffocating
strangulation of fear so that we can breath-in the fresh air of freedom found
only in the faith, HOPE, and love that is truly found in the fullness of Christ
and His Church.
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out
fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet
perfect in love.” – 1 John 4:18
The Head Shepherd, who should know better, has fallen
into the trap set by the Big Bad COVID Wolf.
When the Head Shepherd is weak, the sheep can be more
easily hunted and taken down.
In Matthew 8:24 – 26 we read about the calming of the
storm at sea: “Jesus got into a boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a
violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by
waves, but, He was asleep. They came and woke Him, saying:
‘Lord, save us! We are perishing!’ He said to them,
‘Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?’ Then He got up, rebuked
the winds and the sea, and there was great calm.”
Likewise, the Head Shepherd should speak to his sheep
like Jesus spoke to His disciples. Live life calmly amidst the storms of life
because we believe in the One who will shield and shelter us so that we may live
and have Life Everlasting.
Put God back in the first place, not only in our
personal lives, but also in our public lives. Remove the “corona” from the
virus and return the Crown which rightfully belongs only to CHRIST THE KING.
We must not be focused and fixated on covid instead we
must be alert and attentive to CHRIST and CHRIST ALONE. Covid brings chaos and
confusion but CHRIST brings calmness and clarity. Amidst the storms of life we
can be rest assured we have a SAVIOR.
If everything is done “due to an overabundance of
caution”, then everything will be postponed until all the conditions are
correct and the coast is clear. And that will never happen. Life and living is
imperfect and the road is muddled and messy ever since the Fall in the Garden
due to Original Sin, but with faith, HOPE, and love, we can traverse the
landscape and arrive at the lush pastures and cool, running streams of water.
Who does the Head Shepherd take orders from? It appears
the Head Shepherd takes his marching orders from the honorary and executive
chairs, leadership, and sponsors; in other words, The Elites of the Archdiocese
Community.
After “a lot of prayer” and also “discussions” with The
Elites, this is the answer that was given: Postpone and Re-Schedule.
The Head Shepherd should respond to The Elites of the
Archdiocese Community like Jesus responded to Peter, “Jesus turned and said to
Peter: ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not
as God does, but as human beings do.’” Matthew 16: 23
Head Shepherd, be aware that the evil one is taunting
you, trolling you, and tempting you with deceptions, dishonesty, and duplicity.
So from now on, will all the discernments and decisions
from the Head Shepherd include “discussions” with The Elites?
The brainwashing by the Big Bad COVID Wolf has
infiltrated and intimidated the heart, mind, and soul of the Head Shepherd. All
his brotherly shepherds under him take their orders and unquestionably obey, or
they face being ostracized and obliterated from taking care of their sheep. Towards
those who fall out of favor with him, he is often harsh, even cruel.
The Head Shepherd allows neither contradiction nor
independent judgment from his brotherly shepherds, choosing to be surrounded
with second-rate, submissive, and servile personalities.
This is how The Elites gain total and complete control:
a devastating disease is detected, everyone is afraid of dying from this most
disastrous disease, so fear rules the lives of all caught in the web of lies.
Do The Elites know what is best for the sheep better
than the Head Shepherd does? Will The Elites protect the sheep better than the
Head Shepherd will? What is said and believed?
Head Shepherds, once you start consulting with The
Elites about what is best for the sheep, you are no longer their Head Shepherd
and have sold out the sheep to the highest bidder because you were scared and
did not have faith in your God-given mission to fight all the wolves so your
sheep could have Life Everlasting.
When will it ever end? It’s been two (2) years since
the onset of the covid virus, two (2) years of living in fear. It’s time to
break-free from the tentacles of physical and psychological torture. Maybe the
covid virus is running its course of less malicious mutations and less virulent
variants. Does that mean that from now on every time there’s a new virus the Head
Shepherds will abandon their flock and flee in fear?
The email seems to cheerfully state: “See you in a
warmer month!” So now we are being encouraged to be fair-weather friends of
Jesus. It appears we have been given free rein to use the excuse that we can’t
attend an activity or event because it’s too: cold, cloudy, windy, hot, stormy,
rainy, foggy, humid, icy, breezy, misty, snowy, sunny, overcast, wet, dry,
chilly, etc.
Papa Ram says, “It’s too cold!” Mama Ewe says, “It’s
too windy!” Little Lamb says, “Let’s wait until everything is just right!” The
sheep need a Shepherd to lead them. Shepherds
carry a staff which is a unique instrument used solely for the concern and
compassion of their sheep.
Head Shepherd, shame on you! If you truly believe there
is HOPE for the Future, please act like you believe it!
“For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but
rather of power and love and self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
Saint Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church, eloquently
wrote: “A soul which is full of slavish fear cannot achieve anything which is
right, whatever the circumstances may be, whether it concern small or great
things. It will always be shipwrecked and never complete what it has begun. Oh,
how dangerous this fear is? It makes holy desire powerless, it blinds a man so
that he can neither see nor understand the truth. This fear is born of the
blindness of self-love, for as soon as a human being loves himself with the
self-love of the senses he learns fear, and the reason of this fear is that it
has given its hope and love to fragile things which have neither substance nor
being and vanish like the wind....Seek for nothing but the honor of God, the
salvation of the soul, and the service of the beloved Bride of Christ, the Holy
Church.”

Declarado en el sitio web de la Arquidiócesis:
“La misión de “Hope for the Future”, Esperanza para el Futuro,
es ayudar a las familias a obtener los beneficios académicos y espirituales de
una educación en una escuela católica en la Arquidiócesis de San Antonio a
través de asistencia para la matriculación basada en la necesidad. Hope for the
Future, Esperanza para el Futuro, también apoya a las escuelas a través de asistencias
para mejorar la infraestructura, currículo y tecnología”.
Desafortunadamente, no solo se pospuso la recaudación de fondos La Gala para el proyecto Hope for the Future, Esperanza para el Futuro, pero, irónicamente, la “ESPERANZA para el Futuro” se ha visto severamente disminuida como lo demostró el Pastor Principal de la Arquidiócesis de San Antonio.
Otro Pastor Asustado corre hacia las lomas, temeroso del Lobo Feroz del COVID que está asustando y dispersando a todas las ovejas para devorarlas más fácilmente.
La decisión de posponer La Gala se hizo pública el 10 de enero para un evento que estaba programado para el 6 de febrero.
La Gala ha sido reprogramada y ahora se llevará a cabo el 18 de marzo.
¿Quién sabe qué sucederá el 6 de febrero o el 18 de marzo? La respuesta correcta es: Sólo Dios sabe.
¿Será mejor la situación del covid o será mucho peor? Una vez más, la respuesta correcta es: Sólo Dios sabe.
Entonces, ¿por qué cambiar la fecha de La Gala? Para apaciguar los temores de los que faltan de fe en confiar en Dios.
¿Por qué el Pastor Principal está alentando el FACTOR MIEDO para que corra desenfrenado en nuestras vidas, cuando debería estar ejemplificando el FACTOR FE para rescatarnos de someternos y sucumbir al miedo y aprensión de todas las cosas amenazantes y aterradoras que nos rodean?
Pastor Principal, ayúdanos a liberarnos del sofocante estrangulamiento del miedo para que podamos respirar el aire fresco de la libertad que se encuentra solo en la fe, la ESPERANZA y el amor que se encuentra verdaderamente en la plenitud de Cristo y Su Iglesia.
“En el amor no hay temor, sino que el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor; porque el temor lleva en sí castigo. De donde el que teme, no ha sido perfeccionado en el amor.” 1 John 4:18
El Pastor Principal, que debería saberlo mejor, ha caído en la trampa tendida por el Lobo Feroz Del COVID.
Cuando el Pastor Principal es débil, las ovejas se pueden perseguir y derrumbar más fácilmente.
En Mateo 8:24–26 leemos acerca de la calma de la tormenta en el mar: “Jesús se subió a una barca y sus discípulos lo siguieron. Y he aquí que se levantó en el mar una tempestad tan grande que las olas cubrían la barca; pero Él dormía. Y vinieron sus discípulos y lo despertaron, diciendo: ¡Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos! Él les dijo: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió a los vientos y al mar, y se hizo grande tranquilidad.”
Del mismo modo, el Pastor Principal debe hablar a sus ovejas como Jesús habló a Sus discípulos. Vive la vida con calma en medio de las tormentas de la vida porque creemos en Aquel que nos protegerá y cobijará para que podamos vivir y tener Vida Eterna.
Pongamos a Dios de nuevo en primer lugar, no sólo en nuestras vidas personales sino también en nuestras vidas públicas.
Retire la "corona" del virus y devuelva la
Corona que legítimamente pertenece solo a CRISTO REY.
No debemos estar enfocados y obsesionados con el covid, sino que debemos estar alertas y atentos a CRISTO y SOLO A CRISTO. Covid trae caos y confusión, pero CRISTO trae calma y claridad. En medio de las tormentas de la vida podemos estar seguros de que tenemos un SALVADOR.
Si todo se hace "debido a un exceso de precaución", entonces todo se pospondrá hasta que todas las condiciones sean correctas y la costa esté despejada. Y eso nunca sucederá. La vida y el vivir es imperfecto y el camino es confuso y desordenado desde la Caída en el Jardín debido al Pecado Original, pero con fe, ESPERANZA y amor, podemos atravesar el paisaje y llegar a los exuberantes pastos y corrientes de agua frescas y corrientes.
¿De quién recibe órdenes el Pastor Principal? Parece que el Pastor Principal toma sus órdenes de marcha de los presidentes honorarios y ejecutivos, el liderazgo y los patrocinadores; en otras palabras, Las Élites de la Comunidad arquidiócesis.
Después de "mucha oración" y también "discusiones" con Las Élites, esta es la respuesta que se dio: Posponer y reprogramar.
El Pastor Principal debe responder a Las Élites de la Comunidad de la Arquidiócesis como Jesús respondió a Pedro: "Jesús se volvió y le dijo a Pedro: "¡Ponte detrás de mí, Satanás! Eres un obstáculo para mí. No estás pensando como Dios lo hace, sino como lo hacen los seres humanos". Mateo 16: 23
Pastor Principal, ten en cuenta que el maligno se está burlando de ti, troleándote y tentándote con engaños, deshonestidad y duplicidad. Entonces, de ahora en adelante, ¿todos los discernimientos y decisiones del Pastor Principal incluirán "discusiones" con Las Élites?
El lavado de cerebro del Lobo Feroz Del COVID se ha infiltrado e intimidado el corazón, la mente y el alma del Pastor Principal. Todos sus pastores hermanos bajo él toman sus órdenes y obedecen incuestionablemente, o se enfrentan a ser condenados al ostracismo y borrados del cuidado de sus ovejas.
Hacia aquellos que caen en desgracia con él, a menudo es duro, incluso cruel. El Pastor Principal no permite ni la contradicción ni el juicio independiente de sus pastores hermanos, eligiendo estar rodeado de personalidades de segunda categoría, sumisas y serviles.
Así es como Las Élites ganan el control total y completo; se detecta una enfermedad devastadora, todos tienen miedo de morir de esta enfermedad tan desastrosa, por lo que el miedo gobierna la vida de todos los atrapados en la red de mentiras.
¿Saben Las Élites qué es lo mejor para las ovejas, mejor que el Pastor Principal? ¿Protegerán Las Élites a las ovejas, mejor que el Pastor Principal? ¿Qué se dice y se cree?
Pastores Principales, una vez que comienzan a consultar con Las Élites sobre lo que es mejor para las ovejas, ya no son su Pastor Principal y han vendido las ovejas al mejor donante porque estaban asustados y no tenían fe en su misión dada por Dios de luchar contra todos los lobos para que sus ovejas pudieran tener Vida Eterna.
¿Cuándo terminará? Han pasado dos (2) años desde el inicio del virus covid, dos (2) años de vivir con miedo. Es hora de liberarse de los tentáculos de la tortura física y psicológica. Quizás el virus covid está siguiendo su curso de mutaciones menos maliciosas y variantes menos virulentas. ¿Significa eso que a partir de ahora cada vez que haya un nuevo virus, los Pastores Principales abandonarán su rebaño y huirán con miedo?
El correo electrónico parece decir alegremente: "¡Nos vemos en un mes más caliente!" Así que ahora estamos siendo animados a ser amigos de Jesús nomas cuando el clima es bueno. Parece que se nos ha dado rienda suelta para usar la excusa de que no podemos asistir a una actividad o evento porque está muy: frío, nublado, ventoso, caliente, tormentoso, lluvioso, brumoso, húmedo, helado, turbulento, oscuro, nevado, soleado, nubloso, húmedo, seco, fresco, etc.
Papá Carnero dice: "¡Hace demasiado frío!" Mamá Oveja dice: "¡Hace demasiado viento!" Cordero pequeño dice: "¡Esperemos hasta que todo esté bien!" Las ovejas necesitan un pastor que las guíe. Los pastores llevan un bastón que es un instrumento utilizado únicamente para el cuidado y la compasión de sus ovejas.
¡Pastor Principal, debería darte vergüenza! Si realmente crees que hay ESPERANZA para el Futuro, ¡ por favor, actúe como si lo creyera!

Santa Catalina de Siena, Doctora de la Iglesia, escribió elocuente: "Un alma que está llena de temor servil no puede lograr nada que sea correcto, cualesquiera que sean las circunstancias, ya se trate de cosas pequeñas o grandes. Siempre naufragará y nunca completará lo que ha comenzado. Oh, ¿qué tan peligroso es este miedo? Hace que el deseo santo sea impotente, ciega al hombre para que no pueda ver ni entender la verdad. Este miedo nace de la ceguera del amor propio, porque tan pronto como un ser humano se ama a sí mismo con el amor propio de los sentidos aprende el miedo, y la razón de este miedo es que ha dado su esperanza y amor a cosas frágiles que no tienen ni sustancia ni ser y se desvanecen como el viento. No busquen nada más que el honor de Dios, la salvación del alma y el servicio de la amada Esposa de Cristo, la Santa Iglesia".
