Obituary

Gloria S. Sifuentes, “Gogo” went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2020 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by husband Tomas F. Sifuentes Jr., 4 brothers and 7 sisters.

She survived by her daughter Gloria E. Pena, granddaughter Katherine Villarreal & husband Richard, great-grandson Richard Villarreal 3.

She worked for 34 years at La Siesta Motel and 20 years with the San Felipe Del Rio C.I.S.D. as a substitute teacher. She was an alumni of the San Felipe Class of 1952, the Cactus Queen Basketball team and the San Felipe High School band. Gloria was also member of the Legion of Mary from Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. 

The Legion of Mary will pray the Rosary for our beloved Sister Gloria at 3:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Gloria S. Sifuentes to the San Felipe Ex-Students Scholarship.
