Basilisa Polanco 

(April 15, 1922 - November 18, 2017)

Basilisa Polanco, 95, passed away November 18, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. 

She was born April 15, 1922 in Shafter, Texas. 

She is survived by her sons: Manuel Polanco, Jr. (Linda) of Del Rio, Roberto Lee Polanco (Elidia) of Alpine, Orlando Alvan Polanco (Leticia) of Del Rio and Arturo Oscar Polanco of San Antonio; daughter: Biatris (Susie) Vela of Del Rio; brother: Sebastian Serrano; 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel R. Polanco. 

Many thanks and blessings to the Val Verde Regional Medical Center and La Vida Serena Nursing Home staff for the caring of Basilisa. 

Visitations will be on Monday, 5-9:00P.M, November 20, 2017 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home with a rosary vigil at 7:00P.M. 

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, 1200 Noon, November 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed with interment at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
