Esperanza C. Arredondo 

(September 9, 1917 - February 12, 2015)

Esperanza Cumpian Arredondo, age 97, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 here in Del Rio. She was born September 8, 1917 in Durango, Mexico.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 45 years, Eulalio Arredondo; parents, Aniceto and Guadalupe Cumpian; son, Eulalio Arredondo, Jr; and sisters,Pura Torres and Guadalupe Cumpian.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her son, Jose Arredondo and wife Olga Arredondo of Del Rio; daughters: Elvira Holguin and husband Albert Fowler of Sonora, TX, and Estela Acosta and husband Ramiro Acosta of Hobbs, NM; Esperanza is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-9 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

A Chapel Service is schedule for Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Deacon Hernandez. Interment will follow at the San Felipe Cemetery.
