Josefa G. Torres age 84, entered into rest on October 30, 2013 in Del Rio,
Texas. She was born November 7, 1928 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in
death by her Husband Trinidad Torres, Son Trinidad Torres Jr., Daughter
Guadalupe Gonzalez, Parents Jose and Brigida Galvan, Brother Manuel Galvan.
Left to cherish her memory are her Sons Jose Luis Torres and wife Juanita of
Del Rio, TX, Ricardo Torres and wife Diana of Austin, TX. Daughters Dora Elia
Torres of Del Rio, TX, Brigida Esquivel and husband Javier of Copperas Cove, TX,
Brother Raymond Galvan of Del Rio, TX, Sister Elida Carvajal of Del Rio, TX,
Daughter-in-law Maria Elena Torres of Del Rio, TX and additional children she
raised Blanca Galvan, Manuel Galvan and Edna Galvan. Also survived by sixteen
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at
Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 11:00 AM
at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Javier Esquivel Jr., Jonathan
Torres, Jaime Torres, Gilbert Torres, Joe Hinojosa and Michael Rodriguez.
Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
