San Antonio Media Missionaries

Hello Media Missionaries,

We have around 140 Media Missionaries in and around San Antonio and we are growing in numbers in support of Mother Angelica’s ministry.

· EWTN TABLE: If you would like to set up an EWTN information table at your parish one weekend, contact Jane Sperber at janesperber@att.net and she will assist you with free EWTN material, EWTN tablecloth, the Mother Angelica poster board and helpful information to make your table a success.  Below is table sample picture.

· MOVIE – “THE WAY”: I hope you caught Raymond Arroyo’s program, “The World Over”, a few weeks ago. It was a great segment with an interview with Martin Sheen (who is Catholic) and his son Emilio Estevez introducing their new movie, “The Way”. It deals with a father who lost his son from an accident while he was on the Camino de Santiago walk; also called The Way of Saint James. · MEDIA MISSIONARY GET TOGETHER: Jane and I would like to have a get together in February for all the Media Missionaries in our area. We think it would be a great opportunity for you to learn and share your ideas, successes, or even discuss some of the hurdles you have had to face with your ministry with one another. We will keep you updated with our plans.

Thank you for your decision to serve EWTN as a Media Missionary. You may wonder if there are any fruits from your efforts. You may never know when that one person who picked up your program schedule, read a program write up in the bulletin, or picked up some of your free material from the foyer or your table display and it changed his or her life by coming closer to God or by becoming more committed to their Catholic faith. You may never know…..but it only takes one. And God smiles.
