On Monday, February 28, 2011 the members of the Legion of Mary - The Nativity of Mary Praesidium went to leave bouquet of flowers for two (2) deceased Legion of Mary - The Nativity of Mary Praesidium active members.
February is a special month for both of them.
Sister Edelmira "Mache" Rubio died on February 19 and Sister Hortensia "Tencha" De La Rosa celebrated her birthday on February 28, she was born in a leap year.

For Sister Edelmira "Mache" Rubio the smaller spring colored bouquet was placed inside the larger red flower bouquet that was already there.
For Sister Hortencia "Tencha" De La Rosa, her daughter Anna De La Rosa just happened to come by at the same time, so she took the white colored bouquet of flowers that was there and placed the "purple and gold" colored bouquet in the flower stand, because they are the colors of her mother's beloved San Felipe High School.
