Pilgrimage to visit the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima in San Antonio, Texas

On Sunday, January 24, 2010, eight (8) active & auxiliary members and friends of the Legion of Mary, The Nativity of Mary Presidium in Del Rio, Texas traveled to make a one (1) day pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, 1715 N. Zarzamora in San Antonio, Texas.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us and our intentions.

We arrived for the 10:30 a.m. entrance procession and attended the 11:00 a.m. Mass celebrated by Retired Auxiliary Bishop Thomas J. Flanagan.

This was the concluding/farewell day of the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima visiting various parishes in the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

We visited the The Order of Discalced Carmelite Nuns Monastery, 6301 Culebra Road, in San Antonio, Texas.

We spoke with a cloistered nun who was behind a wooden turntable partition and asked her to pray for our petitions.
