The Pro-Life Flag by The Pro-Life Flag Project

Image
The Pro-Life Flag by The Pro-Life Flag Project While simple, the design of the Pro-Life Flag is highly symbolic of the pro-life message. The white background symbolizes non-violence in the womb as well as the innocence of the unborn child. The two baby feet represent the humanity of the unborn child. Baby feet have been a symbol associated with the pro-life movement since the iconic Precious Feet lapel pins were named the international pro-life symbol in 1979. The two pink hands represent the pregnant mother, holding and protecting her child. The white heart in between the feet symbolizes the pro-life movement’s love for both the mother and her child. The circle shape formed by the hands evoke imagery of a pregnant mother’s stomach, a safe, secure, protected place for a developing child. The two stripes again emphasize the TWO distinct human lives present in a pregnancy. The stripes also form an “equals sign,” stressing that the...

Cultural craziness by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Cancel culture demands that all white girls remove their large hoop earrings because it’s a sign of cultural appropriation from black culture. Cancel culture bans clapping and cheering because it’s not inclusive of deaf people. People have been instructed to use “jazz hands,” apparently unaware of how exclusive that might be to blind people who can’t see other people’s hands moving in the air. Cancel culture opposes the hosing down of sidewalks that reek of excrement over concerns that doing so might be racially insensitive. Cancel culture considers the size of chairs to be a micro aggression against overweight people. Cancel culture bans the use of the word “chief” in job titles over concerns that the word could be interpreted as a micro aggression against Native-American indigenous people. Gone would be the titles for Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief of Police. Cancel culture demands that students b...

iFrame is not supported! Am I The Only One by Aaron Lewis  Am I the only one here tonight  Shakin' my head and thinkin' somethin' ain't right  Is it just me?  Am I losin' my mind?  Am I standin' on the edge of the end of time?  Am I the only one?  Tell me I'm not  Who thinks they're takin' all the good we got  And turnin' it bad, hell,  I'll be damned I think I'm turnin' into my old man  Am I the only one, willin' to bleed  Or take a bullet for bein' free  Screamin', "What the hell" at my TV  For tellin' me, yeah, are you tellin' me?  That I'm the only one, willin' to fight  For my love of the red and white  And the blue, burnin' on the ground  Another statue comin' down in a town near you  Watchin' the threads of Old Glory come undone  Am I the only one not brainwashed?  Makin' my way through the land of the lost  Sees it as it is and worries 'bout his kids  As they try t...

Time out by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
Mr. Watchman marches straight up to Ms. Lately as she is leisurely sitting in her work station and staunchly states, “You’re late for work. You’re supposed to be here promptly at 8:00 a.m. and you arrived at 9:30 a.m.” Ms. Lately languidly lolls in her chair and relaxingly replies, “Well, I think that time is simply a social construct that is used to discriminate against “non-traditional time-oriented people”. It feels like to me that it is 8:00 a.m., so according to “my inner time clock” I’m on time for work.” Mr. Watchman indignantly intones, “You’re fired!” Ms. Lately retorts with, “You’re a bigot! I’ll hire a lawyer; sue you for not wanting to accept my concept of time and for discriminating against me for being a distinctively, unique time-oriented person. You have no right to impose your “time restrictions” on me. I’m free to make up my own concept of time which you have to accept or else face the consequences of being an intolerant bigot, a traditional time enforcer and an...

Racist remarks! article by Marian Casillas Ed.D.

Image
He praised George Wallace former Governor of Alabama best remembered for his 1960’s segregationist politics as “someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.” During the Civil Rights movement he wanted to “ensure we do have orderly integration of society, not just talking about education but all of society. Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point.” He observed about Barack Obama running for president, “You got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” Speaking to a group of Latino reporters he asserted, “By the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the La...

Emilio Estefan Releases Music Video Exposing Cuba's Harsh Conditions by Media Research Center

Image
Libertad, himno de Emilio Estefan por Yailenys Pérez y Joncien Emilio Estefan is a successful Cuban American musician and producer who moved to the United States when he was only 14 years old. He knows a thing or two about how important liberty and freedom are and he’s showing support for his country by releasing a new song called “Libertad," or liberty in English. Estefan is married to Cuban American singer Gloria Estefan and has won 19 Grammy Awards throughout his career. He produced his  new song  in collaboration with the nonprofit group The Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba. The footage was shot two months ago but in light of the ongoing riots they decided to speed up the process and release the video early.  “I feel people need to know the truth of what happened in Cuba. For the first time, thanks to technology they are seeing the reality of what happened and the abuse,” Estefan stated. The song talks about the “enemy of liberty,” which is silence. “It’s a s...

Saint Mary Magdalene: The one that loved much by Mary Queen of the Third Millennium

Image
The passionate soul does not know fear, it does not measure risks. In the Garden of Olives the Apostles fled in terror. Mary Magdalene, on the other hand, went out in search of her Beloved, and He went to meet her. A sinner! For this and other unpleasant epithets were pointed out in Jerusalem and around to Mary Magdalene, a rich woman of noble lineage, remarkable beauty and dissolute life. She had allowed herself to be dragged, still very young, by vanity, the first step in the elusive ramp that leads to the muddy waters of impurity. In that deplorable situation, she entered the Gospels with the nickname of public sinner: in civitate peccatrix, that is, a sinner known as such in the city (Lk 7, 37).At a certain moment, however, her paths crossed with those of Jesus. The evangelists do not report where, when or how that first meeting occurred, but later on she starred in one of the best-known episodes of the New Testament: bringing an alabaster jar of ointment, burst into the dining r...

Socialism stinks by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
Socialism is totally incompatible with America’s Constitution and our traditional heritage of liberty. Unfortunately, in these turbulent, trying times due to the global pandemic economic crisis, socialism is being espoused and extended as a solution by left-wing politicians at a time when America cannot afford the steep costs that socialism imposes on society. Socialism undermines faith and religious liberty, it is the enemy of economic freedom and opportunity, it undermines responsibility and encourages dependence, it destroys prosperity and brings misery wherever it is tried, and once imposed, socialism is almost impossible to undo. For decades, American schools have failed to provide young Americans with a solid grounding in American civics, the study of American history, government, and economics. This has contributed to the attraction so many young people today feel toward socialism.  America’s colleges and universities are now hotbeds of progressive and “p...

God bless America. God bless the Catholic Church.

Image
While cleaning out a folder to reuse I came across this flyer. How much things have changed unfortunately for the worse in six (6) years. Now being patriotic is portrayed as pathological patriarchy, freedom as fascism and Catholic churches are burnt down because they are thought of as racist institutions. God bless religious freedom in our Country and in our Church. God bless America. God bless the Catholic Church.

Revolt against the sexual revolution by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
As a culture we have been reaping the repulsive and rotten fruit brought forth by the sexual revolution that proudly proclaimed to liberate women from the perceived shackles of pregnancy, all by means of quick and easy abortions, birth control drugs and devices and sterilization. The entire weight of the burden of free-sex was on the shoulders of the liberated woman to make sure she took her daily dose of synthetic hormones classified by the World Health Organization as a carcinogen. And if the contraceptives failed or the condoms failed, then it was the liberated woman who had to kill her baby in the womb, and it was the liberated woman who had to tie her tubes with very few men getting vasectomies.   Women were merely sexual objects to be mistreated by powerful men. Sexual predators and abusers ran amuck with the freedom to harass and exploit women. The sexual revolution had the effect of bringing about the maelstrom of men in positions of power using their contr...

The Vortex — Striking Back by Church Militant

Image
Until faithful Catholics can clear a huge psychological hurdle in their minds, nothing in the Church is going to change. The hurdle is that the hierarchy is an international gay-crime syndicate of liars, thieves, homosexuals, sex-abuse cover-ups and theologically unsound destroyers of souls. And that's on one of their better days.  Donald Wuerl, for example, gets $2 million a year in retirement from Wilton Gregory. Timothy Dolan accepted a palatial house in upstate New York that was given as a gift from a wealthy New Yorker for retired priests and claimed it for himself. The diocese of Newark under Joseph Tobin just sold a mansion for almost a million dollars that the deceased former archbishop John Myers had built for himself. Blase Cupich is closing down almost a hundred parishes in Chicago, and his hit list includes those with millions of dollars in endowments. They see themselves as having absolute power to do whatever they want and to who...
