For each of the nine days leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday, our Lord gave Saint Faustina a different intention. Starting on Good Friday, March 30, please pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet each day for these intentions: DAY 1: All mankind, especially sinners. DAY 2: The souls of priests and religious. DAY 3: All devout and faithful souls. DAY 4: Those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Jesus. DAY 5: The souls who have separated themselves from the Church. DAY 6: The meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. DAY 7: The souls who especially venerate and glorify His mercy. DAY 8: The souls detained in purgatory. DAY 9: The souls who have become lukewarm.

Letter to the Editor, Traditionville and Modernville Once upon a time in the serene, sleepy city of Centerville everyone lived in congenial community and courteous civility, but then some increasingly grew wearily-tired and jadedly-bored of all that was old-fashioned and traditionally-conventional ; they wanted everything to be innovatively-new and modernly-contemporary . Some remained dedicated and devoted to all that was old and traditional; they wanted nothing that was newfangled and currently up-to-date. The once docile, dormant city of Centerville grew aggressively alienated and deeply divided. Some citizens of Centerville treasured the old and traditional; while others trashed the new and modern. Some Centerville residents trashed the ancient and antiquated; while others treasured the fashionable and in vogue. They each typically treasured what the other trashed. The once peaceful, placid city of Centerville was even

Letter to the Editor “Creeps and Pervs Broadcasting” Last year Time magazine heralded the year of ‘The Silence Breakers'. Seven men from our government sponsored radio and television stations were no longer working due to claims of sexual harassment. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) now known as “Creeps and Pervs Broadcasting”, along with National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting System (PBS) are sponsored and subsidized solely by taxpayer funding and major corporate donors. In August, John Hockenberry was jettisoned from his NPR program "The Takeaway" with an audience of 3 million listeners on 270 stations. In October, NPR's former editorial director and then senior vice president of news, Michael Oreskes was summarily ousted. Also in October, NPR host of Minnesota Public Radio, Garrison Keillor, creator of "A Prairie Home Companion” was kicked-out. In November, Charlie Rose, PBS host of his show “Ch

Letter to the Editor, Personal assistants “Honey, I’m home,” declares his wife. Her husband can’t wait to share, “My personal assistants have arrived. ‘Candy’ is in my man cave, and ‘Dulce’ is in my home office,” he excitedly exclaims. His wife thinks, just more tech junk, while exasperatingly rolling her eyes. “That’s nice,” she responds trying to keep the peace. It’s no use arguing, he’s enthralled with all the latest electronic gadgets and can’t wait to waste his money on purchasing the newest models. “Look, let me show them to you”. He authoritatively states, “‘Candy’, pour me a drink and bring me my slippers”, his wife is giving him ‘The Look’, he laughs , “Just kidding” and continues , “‘Candy’, play something by Harry Connick Jr.” ‘Candy’ responds, “Are you sure that’s what you want me to play for you because you don’t like him or his songs.” He sheepishly informs ‘Candy’, “Harry Connick Jr. is my wife’s favorite singer, she swoons all over him and c
