EWTN Media Missionary E-News
(Received in email)
Hello Media Missionaries:
If you haven’t taken the time to visit EWTN’s Media Missionaries face book page, please do so. Click on ‘photos’ to see what other Media Missionaries around the U.S. are doing to support EWTN programming and informing their parishioners on what EWTN has to offer to everyone. Go to www.factbook.com/ewtnmissionaires. If you would like to set up an EWTN information table at your parish, contact Jane Sperber at janesperber@att.net .
A few weeks back, I had my 4 yr. old granddaughter here for a visit. I thought it was a good time to introduce her to EWTN’s Kid’s web page. Not only did she have a blast on the website, I did too! Check it out for yourself and pass this valuable information on to others. Ask your schools if they are aware of the wonderful learning games related to our faith on the website for their students to enjoy. Have them go to www.ewtn.com and click on ‘EWTN KIDS website and TV programs’.
I will end with a quote from the Catechism of the Catholic Church # 900.
Since, like all the faithful, lay Christians are entrusted by God with the apostolate by virtue of their Baptism and Confirmation, they have the right and duty, individually or grouped in associations, to work so that the divine message of salvation may be known and accepted by all men throughout the earth. This duty is the more pressing when it is only through them that men can hear the Gospel and know Christ. Their activity in ecclesial communities is so necessary that, for the most part, the apostolate of the pastors cannot be fully effective without it.
Thank you for all you do to promote EWTN at your parish.
Blessings to all,
Debbie Felder
