New Catholic Elected Officials Hope to Lead with Faith by Jonathan Liedl

Image
They come from different places and different backgrounds. One spent his teenage years adjusting to life in the United States as a refugee of the Vietnam War. Another is less than a decade removed from serving as Miss Minneapolis. But whatever their differences, Catholics newly elected to state or federal office this November have responded to a similar call to enter into public service — with many of them telling the Register that their faith, in one way or another, played a critical role in their decision to seek election. Newly elected Arizona State Rep. Quang Nguyen, R-Prescott, for instance, told the Register that he decided to run after becoming “a little bit worn out” of attacks on religious freedom in the public square. In particular, the convert cited hostility displayed toward the Catholic beliefs of then circuit-court nominee Amy Coney Barrett in 2017 as a reason for wanting to get involved in the political process. Others, like Lisa McClain, Michigan’s newest U.S. con...

Catholic Exorcist Father Chad Ripperger Calls on Faithful to Recite Prayer to Bind the Evil Spirits and Satanic Forces Until Election Oddities are Resolved

Image
In His Name and by the power of His Cross and Blood, I ask Jesus to bind any evil spirits, forces and powers of the earth, air, fire, or water, of the netherworld and the satanic forces of nature. By the power of the Holy Spirit and by His authority, I ask Jesus Christ to break any curses, hexes, or spells and send them back to where they came from, if it be His Holy Will. I beseech Thee Lord Jesus to protect us by pouring Thy Precious Blood on us (my family, etc.), which Thou hast shed for us and I ask Thee to command that any departing spirits leave quietly, without disturbance, and go straight to Thy Cross to dispose of as Thou sees fit. I ask Thee to bind any demonic interaction, interplay, or communications. I place N. (Person, place or thing) under the protection of the Blood of Jesus Christ which He shed for us. Amen Please put your family, the United States of America and President Donald Trump as the intentions in the Prayer of Command. Pray an Our Father now for the res...

Terminally-Ill Priest Warns: COVID Is Being Used by the Enemy to Drag Souls to Hell; We Must Fight! - OnePeterFive

Cardinal Raymond Burke and Father Dana Christensen By Fr. Dana Christensen About a year ago, I was diagnosed with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It has already taken much from me, like the ability to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, feed myself, or walk. Yet it has also brought me great freedom to live my priesthood in a radical way. Although this disease has taken much from me, and will take more, it cannot take from me the holy priesthood. It may change how I exercise my ministry, but it cannot take the ministry of preaching, teaching, and sanctifying. One of the ways I can continue to preach and teach is through writing. Technology is such that even though I can’t use my hands, I can use a computer that uses eye tracking to type. The technology is amazing. In fact, this whole article was typed using only my eyes. In this way, in the freedom that comes from knowing I have nothing to lose but heaven, that I can preach boldly through the medium of the written w...

November 15, 2020: Silence screams * Letter to the Editor * OPINION * Del Rio News-Herald

Letter to the Editor, Silence screams Our country is in the situation it is in because the vast majority of us are cowardly, corrupt, compromised with the culture, and complicit with evil mostly by our silence. When we speak, we use tame, tepid, soothing, and soft-sounding words in order not to offend and off-put anyone, but to appease and appeal to everyone, instead of speaking the tough-truths with tough-love. Relativism rules when we believe that concepts such as right and wrong, good and bad, and truth and falsehood are not absolute but change from culture to culture and situation to situation. We so sweetly yet sinisterly proclaim that everything is acceptable, allowing all the atrocities to continue to exist while we excuse ourselves with the cover of feigning how moral and upright we are, when in reality we are neither moral nor upright, but rather we are immoral and downright degenerate. All of us have allowed abortions to become legal, remain legal all these ...
