It has already taken much from me, like the ability to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, feed myself, or walk. Yet it has also brought me great freedom to live my priesthood in a radical way. Although this disease has taken much from me, and will take more, it cannot take from me the holy priesthood. It may change how I exercise my ministry, but it cannot take the ministry of preaching, teaching, and sanctifying. One of the ways I can continue to preach and teach is through writing.   Letter to the Editor, Silence screams Our country is in the situation it is in because the vast majority of us are cowardly, corrupt, compromised with the culture, and complicit with evil mostly by our silence. When we speak, we use tame, tepid, soothing, and soft-sounding words in order not to offend and off-put anyone, but to appease and appeal to everyone, instead of speaking the tough-truths with tough-love.
