CORRECTION to previous blog post entitled: Admonition to priests: Please wear appropriate attire at San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, Texas

 

Correction:

From the back I mistakenly mistook the man in the photo to be a priest.

I was informed that he is probably not a priest.

It was stated that he never introduced himself as a priest, and that he was not wearing clerics.

It is interesting to note that a layman would dress more appropriately and reverentially, no matter the weather or the temperature, to enter the Cathedral, than priests who were dressed casually and disrespectfully.  

The House of God is a house of worship to Almighty God.

Bring back clerical attire for the clerical state of life, which would bring back reverence and respect for priestly vocations.
