A Prayer for Trust During Times of Change

Heavenly Father,

You are the same yesterday, today, and forever—

unchanging in love, steadfast in mercy,

and faithful in every season.

As Autumn, Spring, Summer, Winter unfolds around me,

bringing change to my days,

teach me to place my trust in You.

Like the saints before me, may I surrender my plans

and welcome Your holy interruptions

as opportunities to grow in grace.

When I face transitions—

new beginnings, goodbyes, or uncharted paths-

anchor my heart in Your providence.

Remind me that nothing escapes Your loving gaze,

and that every moment, even the unexpected,

is held in Your hands.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.
