A Prayer for Suffering Children of Sex Trafficking

Heavenly Father, We seek your divine protection for innocent children who are abused, sexually exploited and enslaved. 

For children forced into labor, trafficked into sexual slavery

and denied freedom.

We beseech you to release them from their chains. 

Grant these children protection, safety; restore their dignity, reunite them with their families and provide them a new beginning. 

Help us to reach out in support of child victims and survivors of human trafficking. 

Grant us the courage, wisdom, power, and strength to engage in this difficult battle to end exploitation by addressing its causes. 

Fill us with your holy anger and your sacred passion that children who are trafficked might know healing and obtain justice so that traffickers will be brought to account for their crimes. 

Saint Josephine Bakhita, patron saint of human trafficking, we seek your intercession on behalf of all these suffering children. 

We humbly ask these intentions through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
