Mourning for Midnight Mass

 

Personal reflection:

At Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Del Rio, Texas there was no Midnight Mass.

Another Catholic tradition bites the dust.

A beautiful and blessed Mass has been disregarded and thrown away like a heap of rubbish. 

But we have candy canes and pine needles representing Christmas!

Infant King of Joy, reign majestically over our joyful mysteries of life.

Infant King of Sorrow, reign majestically over our sorrowful mysteries of life.

Infant King of Glory, reign majestically over our glorious mysteries of life.

Infant King of Light, reign majestically over our luminous mysteries of life.
