The Providential Purpose of a Purse by A Soul Seeking Salvation in our Savior
It’s time to relinquish this very beaten bag.
I’ve carried it for the past couple of years.
I won’t forget a person recognized the purse when we went to a restaurant.
It replaced the other handbags I carried.
It called me out when my child and I went to a second-hand store for charitable donations almost three years ago.
The side piping keeps poking me.
I have tried many times to stitch it but …..it’s time to relinquish.
It has now been replaced by another gently used bag from the same store.
It is so weird, but knowing I own a bag that someone else carried makes the experience that much rewarding for me.
Did this purse carry a veil?
Was a rosary inside this bag?
Were there times when money was tight and only coins were carried?
It keeps my mind to think of others.
Not a high-end luxury handbag, just a modest bag to carry what is needed to also be able to help others.
Most importantly, the Miraculous Medal attached to the strap closest to my heart.
