Catholic Charities Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.)

Personal reflection:

Do you think the people who donated to Catholic Charities envisioned that their money would be going to treat probably mostly retirees to lunch at a fancy restaurant located in the Oak Hills subdivision at 350 Northaven Drive in San Antonio, Texas?

True charitable works are rewarded by God.

This is a "public relations" (PR) scheme using these well-meaning people who want to help others, but are instead being utilized as promoters of Catholic Charities.

Out in the community with their family, friends, and acquaintances they will speak highly of Catholic Charities and sing their praises of being a most charitable and caring organization.

Catholic Charities is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), it is Catholic-in-name-only and this picture unequivocally demonstrates how they define being "charitable".

On the national level
private party rooms cost on average between $100 — $170 per hour.

This isn't an advertisement for the restaurant, this is solely for informational purposes to show how donations made to Catholic Charities are spent or rather misspent.

Next time the collection basket comes your way, be a good steward and think of where your money really goes.
