AMERICA’S
BLESSED FOUNDING
In the
beginning the settlers came to America seeking religious freedom! In 1608, disgruntled English protestants fled
England for Holland, escaping the pledge of allegiance to the Church of England,
which they believed to be idolatrous. Finding Holland even more secular,
determined to find, and move to a place without government religious
interference, or worldly distractions, so wrote their leader William Bradford.
The separatists, calling themselves Saints, in 1610 returned to England to
raise funds, choosing the new world wilderness of America, without government,
as the correct place to settle. A prominent merchant gave them the advance funds,
and the Virginia Company gave them permission to establish a settlement on the
east coast, between the 38- and 41-degrees latitudes, located between
Chesapeake Bay, and the mouth of the Hudson River. The King gave them
permission to leave, so long as they acted peacefully.
August 1620,
the so-called Saints set sail on the Mayflower, headed for America. It was
stormy sailing, with seasick passengers, and one sailor washed overboard with a
windswept wave. William Bradford wrote,
“It was the hand of God, a proud and very profane young man.” After sixty-six
days at sea, they arrived at the wrong place in America, with no right to be
there. To establish their legitimacy, they named it Plymouth, from which they
had departed in England, and wrote the Mayflower Compact. This famous compact
promised to create a Civil Body Politic “Governed by elected officials, and
just and equal laws.” It was the first document
to establish self-government in the new world and set the stage for future
American Independence.
After
unbearable hardships, adapting to wilderness living, they celebrated the first
Thanksgiving with native Indians. Eventually
the Colonists were absorbed into Puritan Massachusetts Bay Colony, still
convinced the Mayflower Saints were specially chosen by God to be a beacon for
Christians around the world. Bradford wrote, “As one small candle may light
thousands, so the light here kindled has shone to many, yea in some sort to our
whole nation.”
I was
starstruck as a fifth grader, reading all the orange backed, big print
autobiographies of our Founders, as they struggled to birth the very first
Constitutional Republic in all of history. I wanted to be considered literate
in our front porch evening conversations, with a gifted intellectual older
brother, and a solemn Lincoln like father, born in 1893, living history. Our Founders didn’t want a direct democracy,
understanding they all soon voted for a living, rather than honest production
of wealth. They used Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations, written in the 1770’s, as
the bible of finance, still just as true today, only outsold by the Bible in
history. I knew about Calvin Coolidge’s roaring 20’s, and we daily lived the
Roosevelt years of constant new government programs, with nothing changing much,
until Japan bombed Pearl harbor and America went to war. Then my first cousin next door went off to war
with two of his Drew Central classmates, and all three died as Marines on the
sands of Iwo Jima. As a child, I
couldn’t see the world ever smiling again. I can never forget the grief in
Uncle Bill and Aunt Cora’ s face, that never left. But the young men went to war, and when they
run out of older men for work, the women picked up the plow, and Hitler, Tejo
and Mussolini soon learned the sting of defeat. Everybody loved America, and we
licked our wounds, working unceasingly to make a changed world better, not by
occupying our enemy nations, but attempting to make them American partners,
doing Christian good in a peaceful world.
I never
dreamed it could be possible for America to be so divided as today. This
morning I watched a Democrat Senate hearing with jackals only interested in
convincing America that the January 6th was the most dangerous Trump
orchestrated insurgency in history, with only one tiny Trump lady supporter
dying, shot by a 250-pound Capitol police hero. There is another side to
everything, but in today’s sickness, one could find him or herself jailed for
daring to see or speak a different version of a lying democrat truth. Now I am
watching a hearing by Republicans regarding the mode of infection of Covid,
which killed a million Americans. The democrats have joined with China,
desperately selling that Covid was passed naturally by an animal sold at the
Wuhan, China wet market. The Republicans and world almost perfectly agree that
the Covid virus escaped from the China Wuhan Virology Laboratory, financed by
millions from NIH director Doctor Fauci. Fauci openly talked about learning the
gain of function, so if a Bat, 900 miles from Wuhan, ever infected a human with
Covid, we could quickly prepare a vaccine, saving lives. I’m from Beulah, but
if a Bat had never in eons of history been able to infect humanity, it didn’t
make any sense for America to send untold millions to China’s warfare
laboratory to learn the gain of function.
It only killed a million Americas for chaos
during an election year of rioting and burning, all to make sure Trump lost the
2020 election, one way or the other. We are now learning that the State Department
was also sending funds to Wuhan Virility war laboratory as well, in defiance of
Trumps presidential order to stop all payments. On this very day, not a single
viable case of covid has been found of natural animal transmission. Even Trump
hating American intelligence communities admits the Wuhan lab leak was the most
likely source, but the democrats viciously contend it was from natural
transmission.
This is not
the loving, honest, Christian America I once knew. Every tit and tittle of
democrat politics is to, in any way possible to destroy Trump, and the more they
try, the more chances Trump will be our next president. America feels the evil in the fundamental
change of the ruling elites, with the only voice are up to, and they don’t want
the Marxism they are pushing. America wants the Truth, and with Republicans controlling
marginally only the House, you are beginning to see and feel the truth in the
pit of your gut. Day by day its coming, soon a nuclear explosion, taking us
back to our Christian Founding. America
is good, and knows the lying, leftists are taking your future well-being, only
desiring total power at any cost. Trump
didn’t organize January Sixth, the democrats did, and you will eventually know.
Trump loves you, and wants you a middle-class taxpayer, the left hates you
proletarian slobs, and wants you in slavery addicted to moldy cheese. By
November 2024 they can’t steal enough votes to win, and Billy Graham times will
be back, and the real crooks will be going to jail again, instead of the framed
honest guys. It may take you a while for you to get the news, but it’s coming,
so break out your dancing shoes and get ready to celebrate morning in America
again, Trump style. It’s in America’s DNA.
