Sheep were slaughtered without a shepherd by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
We were sheep without a shepherd; we were led to slaughter. We had our Spiritual Shepherd Jesus Christ, but not our physical pastors. At Mass we are not merely spectators, we are participants in the Holy Banquet, in the Holy Sacrifice. God is made present live and in living color not digitally or virtually. We are a community of faithful worshippers. There is private prayer and there is public communal prayer. The Mass is public worship, not a show on a screen. The Mass is our partaking in the fullness of the Banquet and the Sacrifice, being completely and totally present physically: listening, speaking, seeing, and smelling, touching, tasting, thinking, meditating and reflecting. We are not a scattered audience, we are a unified assembly, the Body of Christ come together to pay homage and honor to God. The live streamed Mass feels like it is the banquet without food or drink, the Body and Blood of Christ. The live streamed Mass feels like it is the sacrifice ...

Catholic Church: Closed for COVID by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
The Catholic Church caved to COVID and closed its doors to the faithful. Not even the United States Postal Service (USPS) closed because it lives by its informal motto, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds". The postal workers delivered mail but the Catholic clergy closed up shop and went into hiding. Why didn’t the Church Leaders fight to keep the churches open? Could it be because they do not really believe what they purport to teach? If they truly believed in eternal life then they would act like it, by not being scared of germs or being intimidated by governmental authorities. Throughout the centuries the Catholic Church has remained open to administer the Sacraments, for public worship, to bring comfort to the afflicted and peace in the midst of tragedy and turmoil. There have been plagues and pestilences and the Church did not close. There have been wars and conflicts and the Chur...

Topic: Pro-Abortion Catholic Politicians Receiving Communion by Patres Fidelium Christi (PFC)

Image
Statement: Nobody who is obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin should be given Holy Communion. But pro-abortion politicians are obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin for, by being politicians, their support of abortion — the murder of babies in the womb — is an extremely grave sin, and it is publicly manifest. Moreover, they do so in a manner that is obstinate to the clear teachings of the Church, and they persevere in this; thus, they are obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin. Thus, again, nobody who publicly supports abortion should be given Holy Communion. Justification: Greetings in the Lord to the faithful of Christ and His Holy Church. The greatest evil, at least on the natural level, in our world today is, by far, the massive slaughter of God’s children in the womb through abortion. With each abortion, an innocent child’s life is snuffed out, and, with legalized abortion, the number of these murders of children in the womb is mind-numbing (an ...

Whiteout blacklisted words by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
(Slightly Satirical yet Significantly Surreal)  An email sent by The University of Hardly-Knocks that’s evidence of higher learning institutions being infiltrated by what previously was termed “political correctness” and has now morphed into “Critical Race Theory”. The email included a number of words and phrases that could be construed as offensive and insulting.   While there are some words and phrases on the list that are legitimately offensive and racially charged, commonly used phrases peppered the list as well. Here’s a partial list of the prohibited words and phrases deemed unacceptable: “you people, blacklist, blackmail, blackball, sounds Greek to me, blondes have more fun, too many chiefs not enough Indians.”   The phrase, “you guys”, wasn’t on the list; isn’t addressing a group of males and females as “guys” being sexist. Other words not on the list: whitewash, whitehead, whitening, whiteout, brown-nose, brownout or brownie, but wouldn’t those words con...

“Women’s Reproductive Rights” by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
“Women’s Reproductive Rights”   “Women’s Reproductive Rights” is a misnomer, it should be called “Women’s Nonreproductive Rights” or Women’s Unreproductive Rights”, because what in reality is being advocated is the so-called right of women not to become pregnant by using contraceptives and not give birth to a baby by having an abortion. The real meaning of “Women’s Reproductive Rights” means that women have a right to reproduce and have children.   Previously President Obama has bluntly and brutally stated, “I’ve got two daughters. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.” President Obama succinctly encapsulated the mindset that has been inculcated and ingrained into the American psyche; that pregnancy is punitive and that babies are a burden and bondage for women. Speak to an infertile couple hoping and longing for the precious gift of a child, speak to a post-abortive woman fac...

Colorfully color blind by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
Mr. Azul and Mr. Rojo are next door neighbors. Mr. Azul: “Don’t you just hate all this systemic racism in the United States.” Mr. Rojo: “If there is systemic racism that means that you and I are racists, but I know that I am not a racist, then that must mean that you’re a racist.” Mr. Azul quickly retorts, “Well I’m not a racist. It’s all those other people who are racists.” Mr. Rojo: “So is your spouse a racist, are your parent’s racists, are your children racists, are any of your family members racists, are your other neighbor’s racists, or are your co-workers racists? Mr. Azul: “Well I don’t think so.” Mr. Rojo: “So where are all those racists?” Mr. Azul: “They’re out there; they’re in all the institutions.” Mr. Rojo: “Like the institution of the Democratic Party, the institution of Planned Parenthood, the institutions of colleges and universities, the institutions of Big Tech, Big Entertainment, and Big Sports? Mr. Azul: “Well I guess they could be in all those institutions.”...

"Let’s Dim The Sun" by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.

Image
Inspired by the song, Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles and an article in Forbes magazine. Forbes is not a magazine particularly noted for being a conspiracy theory expounding, radical far right-wing publication. Forbes states it is “a global media company, focusing on business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifestyle”. The article is titled: A Bill Gates Venture Aims To Spray Dust Into The Atmosphere To Block The Sun. What Could Go Wrong? , written by Ariel Cohen . The first paragraph of the article reads: “Microsoft’s billionaire founder Bill Gates is financially backing the development of  sun-dimming technology  that would potentially reflect sunlight out of Earth’s atmosphere, triggering a global cooling effect. The Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment ( SCoPEx ), launched by Harvard University scientists, aims to examine this solution by spraying non-toxic  calcium carbonate  (CaCO 3 ) dust into the atmosphe...

Renowned doctor condemns funding for COVID treatment, says ivermectin already works by LifeSiteNews

Image
Dr. Pierre Kory, the chief medical officer of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance, called the U.S. government’s decision to grant $1.2 billion to develop a drug to combat COVID-19 a “colossal waste of taxpayer money for a drug we don’t need,” especially since ivermectin works so well.
