Love him or hate him, one thing everyone can say about Donald J. Trump, he is who he is. The world is filled with so much “phoniness”; fake this and that, fakeness all-around, make-up this and make-this-up, filtering photos and stories that generate the most “clicks”, we can’t escape it.

And then there’s Trump.

The media who is the epitome of “fake” hates the truth and truth-tellers. They hate him because he exposes them for what they are: liars. They live in a make-believe world that they want us to believe in also. They hate him because he doesn’t bow-down to them.

They slice and splice news-clips to fit their narrative and present us with neatly packaged sound bites that resoundingly bite us, giving us rabies or leaving us to hemorrhage from our wounds.

They have all the power and they are in control. They sit in their studio control-rooms and force-feed us pabulum and then they have the audacity to tell us it is for our own good because we can’t handle the truth.

If they think we are too dumb to understand, it is because they have dumbed-us-down and made us numb. They show us the horror and the terror and we are immune to the physical and psychological harm.

They pretend to be a reality show when it is a staged show. They show us what they want us to see and they don’t show us what they don’t want to see. They spin-the-bottle, and it always ends up pointing in their favor or for their favorites.

If it doesn’t fit their narrative, then we’ll never see it on the news. If it runs counter to their cause, then they’ll do their best to hide it from us, so we’ll never know about it.

Then here comes Trump and tramples all over their finely manicured and coiffed pretenses and calls them on their bluff. The master poker-player makes them show their cards. No one’s ever done that before. They cry foul; it’s not presidential.
