Imagine you’re a
homeowner and your house is on fire. You call 911 to inform the operator that
your house is on fire. However, you’re specifically requesting only
firefighters who aren’t adulterers or braggarts, and who don’t post aggressive,
hard-hitting tweets, come put out the fire in your house, because you truly
believe that character counts.
Your house is on fire and the water brigade has arrived to douse the flames, you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and turn the horse away because he has bad-breath. You don’t question the gift of the firefighters you’ve been given, but are grateful they’ve come to save your home and possessions from being damaged or destroyed.
Of course character counts, but the main characteristics you want the firefighters who come to put out the fire in your home to have are that they are capable, competent and committed to doing the task for which they were called.
Our country was that house on fire, and the citizens wanted someone who would save them from the destruction it was most certainly headed towards.
Character counts, conversions and second-chances also count, but what counts more are promises kept and accomplishments achieved.
President Trump demonstrated overwhelmingly that he kept his campaign promises and had "huge" success as President of the United States of America.

These promises kept and accomplishments achieved have been fulfilled during the four years of his presidency and if American justice would have prevailed giving him the opportunity to continue to serve, imagine how many more accomplishments could have been added to the list.
Most people are probably not aware of all these outstanding accomplishments because the mainstream media reporters have been collaboratively negligent in reporting any good or positive news, having instead chosen to report only the bad and negative news.
Not only does character count when it comes to presidents; also to journalists who are supposedly objectively reporting the news, character counts!
