An abortionist dies and goes to . . . by Marian Casillas, Ed.D.
January 22, 2021: Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children
After a long and
catastrophic illness an abortionist dies and is greeted at the Pearly Gates by
Saint Peter who holds open the book of the abortionist’s life, a thick volume
filled with all that he did throughout his life.
The abortionist
mistakenly thinks he is just hallucinating from all the pain medication he has
been given and summarily dismisses the entire drama as merely a bad dream or
even as a nightmare that will eventually end when the pain medication wears off
and he awakens from this stupor he now finds himself having to endure.
The abortionist even has
the unmitigated gall to inquire from Saint Peter: “Is this a dream or am I
really dead?”
Saint Peter pulls no
punches and doesn’t try to soften the blow: “You’re dead, just like all those
babies you killed.” Saint Peter then informs the abortionist that he will spend
eternity listening to all the stories of all the babies he aborted.
“What stories?” the
abortionist arrogantly retorts, “They didn’t live to have any stories to tell.”
Saint Peter responds: “They
will relate the stories of what their lives would have been if you had not
killed them.”
And so a never ending
stream of stories begins to be told by the abortionist’s victims and the
abortionist’s horror begins to tragically unfold for all eternity. There will
be no resting in peace; there will be no respite and no reprieve. The
abortionist’s punishment has begun to unfurl before him. The abortionist cannot
avert his eyes from seeing all the babies he aborted; he cannot avoid hearing
all the stories of lives that never had a chance to live.
Baby 1: “I was supposed
to be your first-born child. You took your girlfriend, my mother, to her
abortion appointment and then you never saw her again.”
Baby 2: “I was supposed
to be the one who would have found the antidote to a highly contagious virus,
preventing a deadly world-wide pandemic.”
And so the stories begin
and they will never end.
