January 4, 2019: Democratic runners * OPINION * Letter to the Editor * Del Rio News-Herald
Letter
to the Editor,
The
Bad Boys: Bernie – Beto – Biden - Booker
For
now, at the beginning of 2019, these are the top contenders in the Democratic
Party for the Presidential bid in 2020.
They
are already salivating and chomping at the bit, getting ready to run the race
for the White House. But first they will have to run in the Democratic primary.
These
are the names that have been floated around and have been trending in the news.
There might be a dark horse in the running unbeknownst to all of us. Both Obama
and Trump began as dark horses who came out of nowhere to win the race, and
they both became Presidents.
What
makes these boys bad is that their politics, policies and programs will be bad
for our country. They are socialist wolves in democratic sheep’s clothing.
If we
buy the media hype packaging of these bad boys, we can be sure we’re going to
have buyer’s remorse later on.
These
are the darlings of Big Media, Big Tech, Big Entertainment, Big Money and Big
Celebrities.
It is
gratifying for the soul to see that even though some Presidential candidates in
the past who spend an extravagant amount of money on their campaigns did not
win, which means that people are not that easily swayed by the barrage of
political advertisements that money can purchase.
In other words, the voters
win. But they will keep on trying.
Big
Media will keep on pushing their agenda, but who is really listening to their
echo chambers?
Big
Tech will continue to censor, but for how long can they hide the truth?
Big
Entertainment will continue to proselyte, but for how long can it continue to
be not entertaining?
Big
Money will continue to pour millions into campaign coffers, but don’t they see
that people cannot be bought off?
Big
Celebrities will continue to spout their rhetoric and spew their rancor, but
who really cares what they have to say?
Looking
forward to the 2020 presidential elections? Well, the race is on.
