On September 4 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Del Rio, Texas; ten (10) priests from the religious community Misioneros de la Natividad de María M.N.M. (Missionaries of the Nativity of Mary) came from the surrounding area to make the annual renewal of their priestly vows in anticipation of the Feast of the Nativity of Mary celebrated on September 8.

The parish community of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church was invited to celebrate Mass and witness as these priests renewed their consecration to Our Lord Jesus Christ through the intercession of The Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of “María Niña” or “Divina Infantita” as she is affectionately known.

Father Alfredo Lugo, M.N.M. celebrated Mass and gave the homily. He was a Professor at the Missionaries of the Nativity of Mary Seminary in León, Guanajuato, Mexico and all the priests present at the ceremony had him as their teacher.

The Missionaries of the Nativity of Mary have priests in the following locations in the United States: In Texas - El Paso, Del Rio, San Antonio, Dallas, and Pecos; also in Atlanta and Kansas.
