Letter to the Editor, Education Evolution School choice is becoming our new normal because it encompasses inclusion, openness, and redefinition; not as opponents who falsely frame the debate in terms of replacement or, even worse, destruction.  School-choice advocates seek to destroy nothing, least of all existing schools.  They only seek to redefine “public education” so that the concept includes and extends financial recognition to a range of institutions that are already in existence by acknowledging that there is no legitimate reason to prolong the monopoly status enjoyed by government institutions in the use of tax-generated educational funds. Letter to the Editor The blame book Hillary Clinton was interviewed about her failed presidential campaign. She said, “Why I lost, I’m writing a whole book about all those outside forces which directly affected the outcome of the election”. The book will detail the many reasons she blames for losing the election. Why bother to buy or read the book? Letter to the Editor,  A Political Epiphany  Grace Lace, the Republican candidate and Trace Place, the Democratic candidate are running for the United States Senate seat from Texas. Coincidentally they had attended the same elementary school and had been in the Gifted and Talented (GT) Program. They laughed and joked that Grace was the “gifted” one and Trace was the “talented” one.  Grace and Trace had been campaigning and competing against each other beginning in elementary school for Student Council President.  Everyone thought they had politics in their DNA because both had ambitions of being President of the United States. It seemed like they were totally and completely consumed with politics; they ate, slept, dreamed and breathed politics.
