Pro-Lifers unwelcomed/unwanted in Democrat Party

Tom Perez, Democratic National Chair and Bernie Sanders, Independent Senator from Vermont recently took their “unity tour” on the road, underscoring the fact that the mindset of leftist activists these days is that in order for Democrats to unify their party they must drive out all dissenters, but most especially pro-life dissenters.

Tom Perez became the first head of the party to demand lockstep “abortions for all” ideological agreement, promising to support only Democrat candidates who uphold the right to abort unborn babies.

He stated, “Every Democrat should support a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and her health. That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state. At a time when women’s rights are under assault from the White House, the Republican Congress, and in states across the country we must speak up for this principle as loudly as ever and with one voice.”

Perez delivered a big victory to the “abortion rights” movement, saying that he “fundamentally disagrees about personal beliefs about women’s reproductive health and every candidate who runs as a Democrat should do the same, because every woman should be able to make her own health choices.” 

That means no limitations on abortion, not even efforts to provide information about alternative choices, parental notification and sonograms showing the living baby growing within their mother.

  

Democrat policy now extends far from just being “pro-choice” to now treating abortion as something the government should subsidize and encourage.

Many people who vote Democrat or are open to voting Democrat don’t agree with the party’s stance.

A 2016 Pew poll found 28% of Democrats, 37% of independents and 41% of those who identify as moderate or liberal believe abortion should be illegal in most or all cases.

A 2015 Public Religion Research Institute poll found that over 70% of African-American and Hispanic respondents consider themselves pro-life.

The chairman of the Democrat Party just told pro-life voters they are unwelcomed and unwanted, just like the aborted babies.
