Prayer to the Holy Spirit * Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel * Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray:
God our Father, pour out the gift of your Holy Spirit on the world.  You sent the Spirit on your Church to begin the teaching of the gospel:  now let the Spirit continue to work in the world through the hearts of all who believe.  Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in Battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin o souls.  Amen.

Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary

1.      What is Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary?
-Total Consecration is a 33 day spiritual journey to increase your spirituality and ability to truly serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
-We will walk together this Lent 2016 with St. Louis De Mountford, a doctor of the Church and our spiritual director.
-St. Louis De Mountford’s basic premise:  Jesus came into the world through Mary.  Mary’s life was set apart for the sole purpose of serving our Lord.

-By following Mary’s example, we too, can completely give ourselves to Christ in a fundamental way that consecrates us to Him.

2.  Why do this?
-This spiritual exercise of consecration helps us grow in holiness and increase in our faith, hope, and love.
