Pray for Peace in Iraq

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This past weekend Catholics across the nation  joined their voices in prayer for peace in Iraq. Christians and other vulnerable populations in Iraq as they face the destruction, burning and looting of churches, homes and businesses being threatened by the Islamic State (ISIS). 

We must continue to pray for peace in this troubled part of the world, and let your elected representatives know of your concern that humanitarian assistance reach Christians and other religious minorities who are suffering in Iraq, Syria, and other countries. Below see the prayer for peace written by Patriarch Louis Sako of Baghdad.
