Spread the Word: Get Your News from EWTN

Early July is often when we gather with our friends and family to celebrate our country's Independence Day.

However, one of our most cherished freedoms, our freedom of religion, is in danger of being compromised by a proposed health care law that would force many Catholic business owners to fund contraceptives and abortion inducing drugs.

As the secular media likes to put their own spin on things, we'd like your help letting other Catholics know about Fortnight for Freedom and our two news programs: "EWTN News Nightly" and "The World Over".

Closing Mass for Fortnight for Freedom:  At 11:30 p.m. CT on July 4Cardinal Donald Wuerl  will conclude the two-week Fortnight for Freedom event with a closing Mass.

Archbishop Kurtz of Louisville has been selected as the homilist for this day and  reminds us to remember our cherished freedoms on the anniversary of our country's independence.

EWTN News Nightly:  Each weeknight, Brian Patrick and the EWTN News Nightly team bring you up to date information on the news from a Catholic perspective.

As the Supreme Court's decision on the HHS mandate draws closer, they'll bring you the latest stories of family owned businesses and religious non-profits battling for their right to follow their moral conscience.

Airs 5 p.m. CTMonday through Friday.

The World Over:  Every Thursday night, Raymond Arroyo brings you brand new in-depth interviews and round table discussions concerning the latest news impacting "The World Over!"

Raymond's featured guests offer their expertise and insights which you won't see on secular media shows!

Airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. CT; Encores Fridays at 8 a.m. CT, Sundays at 6p.m. CT; & Mondays at 9 p.m. CT.

SEE TODAY'S NEWS STORIES WITHOUT THE SECULAR SPIN:

Get the news you need from a Catholic perspective you want by tuning in for two of EWTN's news programs: "The World Over" and "EWTN News Nightly!"

Each weeknight at 5 p.m. CT, Brian Patrick and the EWTN News Nightly team bring you up to date information on the news from a Catholic perspective.

Then on Thursdays at 7 p.m. CT, Raymond Arroyo features exclusive interviews, and in-depth discussions with expert guests on "The World Over!"

Get updates on the struggle for Religious Freedom and the HHS mandate by watching these shows and more.

In addition to letting people know that they can turn to EWTN's news programs for faithful and accurate information regarding the religious liberty Supreme Court cases, we'd also like to ask for your prayers.

EWTN is one of the many non-profit organizations that the law has deemed "not religious enough" to receive an exemption to the HHS mandate, forcing employers to offer contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs, so we need all the spiritual support we can get!

Thanks again for all of your work and God bless!

Yours in Christ,
