St.
Joseph Catholic Church is promoting the dignity, sanctity and permanence of
marriage by sponsoring a presentation entitled “Enjoy Your Marriage Workshop”
on July 13, 2013.
All
couples are invited to this one day retreat on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00
p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St.
The
retreat starts with 8:00 a.m. Mass at the Church followed by the workshop from 9:00
a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall.
The
presentation is free of charge; pre-registration is made by calling the Church
Office at 830-775-4753.
The
presenters are Greg and Julie Alexander from The Alexander House in San
Antonio, Texas, which is an international Catholic non-profit apostolate
dedicated to proclaiming the beauty, goodness and truth of marriage. Website

and Julie Alexander are the authors of Marriage
911 and are co-hosts of the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) program Marriage Works in Christ.
Greg
and Julie Alexander will lead the one day marriage education and enrichment
workshop that will focus on inspiring couples to experience the joy in marriage
that God intended.
The
“Enjoy Your Marriage Workshop” will inspire couples to initiate positive
changes in their marriage with a renewed sense of faith, hope and love.
Couples will discover God’s plan for marriage, improve communication, experience the healing power of forgiveness, explore each spouse’s role in the marriage and examine the power of praying together.
