    Couples retreat scheduled for July 13   St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will be holding a couples’ retreat July 13. The retreat will focus on marriage preparation and will be presented by Greg and Julie Alexander. The retreat will focus on inspirational information on learning and living God’s plan for marriage. The Alexanders run the Alexander House in San Antonio that administers marriage workshops. The one-day retreat is free and will begin with a Mass at 8 a.m. To register, call 775-4753.       Legion of Mary sponsors Fourth of July event The Legion of Mary is sponsoring a Fourth of July event. The Fourth of July for Religious Freedom event will begin at 11 a.m. July 4 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 509 W. Garza St. A bilingual patriotic Rosary will take place, followed by an Independence Day Mass.
