Dear Articles for Heart Mind and Soul,
I would like to announce that Del Rio Texas will be Standing Up for religious freedom, this Friday 23rd, at Greenwood Park, Las Vacas Street and Griner Street. Everyone is invited to join us in prayer and to stand with us to oppose the HHS Mandate. What is HHS Mandate? In January, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services(HHS) issued a mandate requiring all employer health plans to include free contraceptives, sterilizations and abortion inducing drugs, regardless of any moral or religious objections. Catholic Universities and hospitals will be forced by the federal goverment to provide services that directly contradict Church teaching.
