October 18: Feast of Saint Luke and October 19: Feast of Saint Isaac Jogues & Companions

Today, October 18, marks the feast day of Saint Luke. Known as the patron saint of surgeons and physicians, St. Luke is also considered one of the Four Evangelists.


Tomorrow is the feast of St. Isaac Jogues & Companions. St. Isaac was a French Jesuit missionary to Canada, who was martyred in 1646.


Both men lived a life dedicated to following Christ.
