Archbishop Gustavo begins Respect Life Month with prayer and a question.

When we are called to be in dialogue with the world that says: "Whose body is it any way?" we must present our faith in God who is the creator of each human being and who wants each person to live in dignity with freedom to do the good and avoid evil. We must proclaim to the world that our God is a God of liberation and not of slavery and who does not want anyone to control anyone whom He has created. We are a people who declare the human body, soul and spirit a reality beautiful in His sight as well as ours.
