Afterwords: Twenty-two (22) Words of Wisdom




1)    Let the Word of God pierce, penetrate and permanently produce God’s Providence.

2)    Studying the Scriptures is not the same as Believing the Bible or Living the Word of God.

3)    Except for God’s grace we cannot take another step or say another word.

4)    As natural water showers our cells in life supporting and sustaining liquid, so the water of God’s word washes our souls of spiritual soot and slush. 

5)    We water our bodies with natural water and our souls with the water of God’s word

6)    Be doers of God’s Word not just hearers of God’s Word.

7)    Let the Word of God convict, convert and continuously call upon God’s Consolation.

8)    A lot of little words were used to make a big book, now a lot of little words make a big blog.

9)    There is power in the word “Yes” and there is even greater power in the word “No”. “Maybe” is a namby-pamby word with absolutely no power at all.

10) Words matter, but it’s what we do with those words that matters most.

11) Come Holy Spirit prompt people to be moved by Your Words transmitted through me so they can share them with others near and far.

12)  We paint a picture of ourselves not by our preaching but rather by our performances; not by our words but rather by our works.

13)  Books do not write themselves. People have to write words and then those words become sentences and then those sentences become paragraphs and then those paragraphs become pages . . . and all of them put together make a book or in this case a blog.

14)  Life-changing words are written by changed lives.

15)  Let us not be immersed in the spirit of the world, rather may we be immersed in the Spirit of The Word Made Flesh.

16) Weeping can be our prayer when we have no words left our silent tears are eloquent. 

17) Prayer is spontaneous, sometimes wordless. 

18) When our hearts are heavy, our minds are mush and our souls are stiff, we can turn to scriptural mantras; repeating consoling words in calming rhythms.

19) Let not our words be bold yet our works be cold, rather may both our words and our works be not cold but BOLD!

20) Use words to paint pictures.

21) Our word is our worth.

22) Words carry a lot of weight; some is “dead weight” and some is “alive weight”. Bury the “dead weight”. Carry the “alive weight”.
