Reflection on Father Moreno’s Homily: March 27, 2011

Pray for a cool breeze to blow through us so that we may hear the Holy Spirit.

All of us are the Samaritan woman at the well. On any ordinary day we can encounter Jesus.

The “well” symbolizes three (3) things:

1) Well of God Living Waters
Jesus fills us with water. When we give to Jesus our sins and our selves we receive living water.

2) Conversation
Jesus leads us into deeper conversations. When we have a conversation with Jesus it will change our life. We must listen to what Jesus is saying to us and honestly confront our habits and routines. We must live how Christ asks us to live.

3) Leisure
We are too busy texting, talking and playing games, that our lives are frenzy. We must take time to relax to talk to God. The Lord invites us to the well, to come to the well where we will have more peace and more hope. If today you hear His Voice harden not your heart. Then we are ready for transformation, for redemption. We must trust God and hear when He tells us that He loves us.
