Vocation Prayer

Creator God,

You have gifted me with Life.

Through baptism

you invite me to share

this gift of life in the service of others.

Be with me as I choose each day

to witness your presence in our world.

Give me courage and generosity

to respond faithfully

to your love, to your call.

I pray for all who serve you as single

persons, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, priests, brothers, sisters, deacons, and lay ministers.

I pray also that you open the minds and hearts of many other men and women that they too may accept your challenge to help in the building of your Kingdom.
